Gränsfors Bruk CERAMIC GRINDING STONE (p/n: 4034) This man-made sharpening stone features two grinding faces: a coarse side (180 grit) for repairing damage and heavy wear, and a fine side (600 grit) for precision sharpening. The ceramic composite construction makes the stone both durable and strong. Compared to natural sandstone, this ceramic grinding stone can be produced with a more consistent and accurate grain size. Its shape is round and flat, with a bevelled edge to prevent chipping. The fine side comprises two-thirds of the stone's thickness, as this is the surface that is typically used and worn down the most. The grinding stone can be used with water or dry, and comes housed in a protective rubber case that also serves as a convenient holder during the sharpening process.
